Our Goal
At Hill River Ranch, our goal is to provide a safe, healthy, and enjoyable environment for you to board your horse as well as a place where you can ride, handle, and work with your horse.
Services
We are a small family-run operation that provides boarding care for up to three horses total at the facility. Boarding includes individual enclosed stall, daily turnout to 3-acre irrigated pasture, enclosed barn for hay, grain, and tack storage, use of paddock area, and 60' x 100' arena. Additional services include trailer parking and numerous riding trails along the St. Vrain River .
Location
Located just seven miles south of Johnstown, Colorado along the St.Vrain River, Hill River Ranch offers the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. Our peaceful setting allows you to work your horse in the arena and enjoy plenty of trail riding opportunities, while still being just a short drive from home.

Facilities at Hill River Ranch, LLC
Indoor Stalls
We provide each horse with a fully-enclosed stall within our barn. All stalls have rubber mat flooring and 10' x12' provide ample room for your animal.
Outdoor Arena
Our 100' x 60' outdoor arena provides space for you to work your horse.
Riding Trails
Enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife as you ride on our trails. Our trails are suitable for riders of all levels.
Irrigated Pasture
Three acres of irrigated pasture grass allows us to turn you horse out to pasture for more time each day and for most months of the year.
Trailer Parking
Trailer parking is available at the facility.
Rates
1. Standard boarding: $300/month
=> summer pasture (3 acres irrigated pasture grass)
=> winter feeding (feed supplied by BOARDER)
=> enclosed barn for hay, grain, tack storage
=> year around water
=> enclosed barn stalls with rubber floor matting
=> use of paddock area
=> use of 100’ x 60’ arena area.
2. Single Trailer Parking on property
=> less than 20 feet length $40/month
=> more than 20 feet length $50/month
3. Use of riding trails $50/month.
